Eucerin Replenishing Face Creme Night 5% Urea is an intensive overnight face cream for dry and tight-feeling skin. Enriched with Urea and Lactate, two compounds that bind moisture, it instantly hydrates dry facial skin, reducing the feeling of tightness. In addition to reducing roughness by maintaining skin hydration (rough skin is often caused by a lack of moisture), Eucerin Replenishing Face Cream Night 5% Urea also smoothes the skin.
Clinical and dermatological studies
The efficacy of Eucerin Replenishing Night Creme 5% Urea was tested on 30 female people with dry skin. The product was applied twice daily on the face for 2 weeks, and each patient’s facial skin was assessed by a physician at baseline and after 2 weeks of application.
The efficacy of Eucerin Replenishing Face Creme Night 5% Urea was also tested on another 32 people with dry skin. The product was applied twice daily on the inner forearm. Moisturization, roughness and skin barrier function were assessed at baseline, 2 hours after the 3rd application, after 3 days and after 2 weeks of application.
